Too Wireframe or Not, That is the Question.
@CedFunches interesting comparison to architects - really great point - they don’t show a framed house - they show the whole thing

After a great questioned posed by Marc Hemeon from Youtube, I have had to give this some serious thought.

Excellent Article on why Designers are great at... →
I was recently asked what advantage I thought I held over a Harvard business school graduate when it came to start-ups. It was very interesting. My response:
I am a real world designer who has proven my ability to take multiple products and ideas to market with a high level of consistent polish.
Really looking forward to Twitter Bootstrap 2.0
As a designer you are given a few choices to work from on the development. Twitter Bootstrap is by far the best choice in my opinion. I love their pitch:
Built for and by nerds
Like you, we love building awesome products on the web. We love it so much, we decided to help people just like us do it easier, better, and faster. Bootstrap is built for you.
For all skill levels

Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele from Comedy Central’s Key and Peele talk about their love for their mothers and share some hilarious stories in this great video for Mother’s Month.
It was awesome to get together with some of my buddies and talk about our love for our mom’s. I truly appreciated their willingness to share their time for a great cause.

Adobe Kills Flash for Mobile →
Sometime ago I was asked to weigh in on the value of Flash in the mobile world. I stated that HTML5 and it’s pioneer designers are paving the way for a quick death to Flash. That death appears to be quicker than even I could’ve imagined.

The hardest part was breaking my bad habits as a consumer and trying to perfect habits of an entrepreneur. I’ll share the top three that can help you make that...

Give yourself an allowance
Get rid of your debit cards and move to a cash system. Think about it. When you were nine, what was your credit score. How many bill collectors were calling. Funny but true. And you almost always never spent the full allowance your parents gave you.
Unfortunately as adults, we are given multiple ways to spend the same pot of money.
Some are disciplined enough to manage what they need. But if you...
Don't Quit Your Day Job in any economy.
The biggest mistake most people make in starting a business is quitting the job you already have. Successful businesses take time, but more importantly, they take capital. How are you going to pay for the most expensive adventure of your life. Loans? Friends? Selling blood?
Think about it this way. Reflect on when you were 16 and you saved money to buy your first car. You worked day and night,...

The trouble with funding...
I have been very fortunate to have the friends, connections and support that I have had on my journey. The truth is though, I haven’t received a dime in funding. Because, quite frankly, funding in itself is BS. Sure there are success stories out there about a wonderful product, and how they were matched with the perfect investor…
But that isn’t a reality for thousands of other...
